Job description
- Enters Our Health Client system Eligibility data; New Enrollees, Disenrollments & any eligibility changes/updates. Maintains accurate eligibility records.
- Maintains processing turn-around time & accuracy levels based on each responsibility guideline.
- To become knowledgeable and keeping updated on the CMS Medicare Rules and Regulations as stipulated in Chapter 2 of the Operations Manual.
- Call members to obtain or verify information.
- Receive incoming calls from Customer Service, Members and other units within the company.
- Responds to correspondence via Group e-mail box, IMAX, or personal e-mail updates or inquiries from internal depts.
- Research information on Our Health Client members/subscribers to resolve issues and disputes.
- Document backlog status on a daily basis.
- Performs various non-production tasks as assigned by supervisor/lead on a scheduled rotation.
- Works various CMS Medicare reports, including the Reply Report, Reconciliation report, etc.
- Addresses discrepancies with group contacts and benefit administrators.
Skills Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One to two years general work experience required.
- Problem solving abilities.
- Ability to operate PC based office software programs MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to type 35 wpm preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- 10-key by touch
- A minimum of 5,000 keystrokes per hour.
