Title: Intake Coordinator

Pay rate: $12 to 16.00/hr - depending on years of experience

Job description

Provide administrative support to the Clinical Manager including time sheets, month end reports, Intake Weekly. Schedule queue coverage two daytime intake teams. Take complaint calls from members and providers. Take intake calls as needed. Monitor phone queues and adjust accordingly to maintain answering standards. Monitor reports to maintain performance guarantees

Assist case managers with provider calls, research claims issues, and keep up with filing and correspondence.. Assist with network development needs and marketing projects as required. Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

Minimum 5 years experience in high volume call center, preferable in managed care or insurance.

Accurate word processing and data entry skills. Ability to handle multiple projects. Professional phone manner, and the ability to handle difficult callers. Excellent written communication skills including proper use of grammar and punctuation.

Certificate for ICD9 / CPT coding required.

Knowledge of MS Word and Excel., Data entry of 4500 kph, Typing speed of 40 wpm

Drug Test and Background check required.
