Job Title: Sr. Project Manage

Job Description:

  • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters
  • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
  • Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
  • Identify, estimate and negotiate SOW changes with the Client
  • Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.


Job Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent experience in engineering, construction management, or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years working experience in construction project management with project value greater than 15M
  • Minimum of 8+ years working experience as PM or superintendent experience in construction disciplines ranging from: electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil on projects type ranging from building and reconstruction of schools, hospitals, commercial and residential building, military facilities Etc…
  • Experience generating, maintaining and reporting using an Earned Value Management system in accordance with ANSI 748 or Industry Standard Guidelines for EVM systems.
  • 3+ years experience working with cost plus government contracts, firm fixed price and good understanding of the Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR).
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER, 8-hour HAZWOPER supervisory and 8-hour HAZWOPER annual refresher training
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draws valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Computer skills in MS Project, Primavera, Word, MS Suite
  • Nice to haves include PMP Certification, Engineering Degree or P.E. in civil, electrical or structural engineering
